Connecting to Grafana

• In Grafana, open Administration › Users and access › Service accounts, add one with the Viewer role, then Add service account token. Paste the glsa_… token into the app.
• Glassboard works with Grafana Cloud and self-hosted Grafana 9 or later.
• You can also sign in with a username and password, or anonymously if your server allows it.

Local network and certificates

• Plain HTTP works for local network addresses: LAN IPs and .local names.
• If your server uses a self-signed HTTPS certificate, the app shows its SHA-256 fingerprint. Compare it with openssl x509 -in cert.pem -noout -fingerprint -sha256 on the server before trusting it.

Panels that don't show

Time series, stat, gauge, bar gauge, bar chart, pie, table and text panels are drawn natively. Other panel types, and library panels, show an Open in Grafana button instead.
